Cinderella

Sweeps her tears up (à la Disney)
Clever Cinderella drops
her slippers
and saves her pearls
of wisdom...
She will give no dowry
She will have no more of mothers
She will fly
on a broom if she has to
Her prince drops his moustache
And Queen Mother her crown
She will come down among people
And raise them to the stars

All at the drop of a slipper.
